Info:

We provide a classroom environment that is just for them and focuses on the basics of learning. Your child’s day will include learning their letters and sounds, recognizing numbers, shapes, and colors; having fun in centers; doing crafts; and participating in group activities that will allow them to focus on building friends.

Everyday your 3 year old will learn something new that will help build self-esteem and confidence within them.

Schedule:

Arrival: Your child is beginning to assert her independence and wants to bring them-self to class! They love knowing where their seat is and getting involved in an activity right away.

Circle Time: Each day we work on letters and numbers, stories, songs, and games. Your child is beginning to participate in class conversations and is even learning Spanish and Sign Language.

Small group activities: Our
threes have begun playing with friends and are learning social sills and problem solving. Your child is discovering themself and uses their imagination to play in our various centers. They may choose to have a tea party in the kitchen area, build a castle with legos or go fishing at the water table.

One-on-one time: Each day, your child gets time with the teacher to work on individualized skills and lessons; your child’s teacher wants to know their strengths and weaknesses to give them the very best preschool experience. Your child may work on cutting with scissors, writing their name or recognizing numbers.

Arts and Crafts: Your child loves being able to create their own piece of artwork and learning to use classroom materials such as glue, scissors and markers properly.

Music and Movement/Gross Motor Activities: Our three’s love new songs, dances and games. In Physical Education class, your child will work on balancing, throwing, catching, jumping and crawling.
